We, as KIKA Group, consisting of KIKA GROUP Ltd., KIKABOO ESPANA S.L., KIKKABOO (NINGBO) TRADING Co., Ltd., KIKA TEX Ltd., recognize our responsibility to conduct business in an ethical, transparent, and sustainable manner across our value chain.

Commitment to international principles

We are committed to aligning our operations with internationally recognized standards and guidelines, including the principles established in the UN Guiding Principles on Business & Human Rights, the UN Global Compact Principles, and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. These principles will guide our approach to human rights, labour standards, environmental responsibility and business integrity.

Human Rights policy development

We commit to:

  • Developing and implementing Human Rights policy aligned with international standards and  principles, promoting ethical labour practices, health and safety, and prohibiting child and forced labour.
  • Publishing the Human Rights policy on our corporate website.
  • Integrating these principles into our supplier relationships and internal processes

Supplier engagement

Recognizing that our primary ESG risks are within our supply chain, consisting mainly of China suppliers, we will:

  • Communicate our Human Rights policy to our suppliers.
  • Engage with our suppliers to acknowledge and adhere to the principles in this statement.
  • Encourage continuous improvement in labour and environmental practices.

Product safety, quality and compliance

We will continue to ensure all products comply with applicable EU legislation, through obtaining and maintaining product safety certifications, testing reports, and conformity documentation, as required by the existing regulations.

We are currently:

  • Selecting new suppliers via a pre-approval screening process for: SAQ about policies regarding ecology and social policy and subsequent verification of the declared information.
  • Constantly monitoring our supplier compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Performing ad-hoc supplier factory onsite visits by a representative of our group to ensure compliance with relevant required standards.
  • Collecting unsystematically social audit reports and certifications.

To strengthen our oversight, we commit to progressively::

  • Perform periodic checks for publicly available information regarding potential controversies related to our suppliers.
  • Require our suppliers to include a sustainability compliance statement clause in their invoices, confirming adherence to applicable legal requirements and our Human Rights policy, including commitment related to human rights, labour standards and product safety.
  • Request and collect systematically available recognized social audit reports and certifications from our suppliers.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to our suppliers’ factories.
  • Maintain documentation on supplier compliance and engagement activities.

Metrics and transparency

We will track and twice a year review key indicators, including:

  • Percentage of suppliers that have incorporated and signed the sustainability compliance clause in their invoices.
  • Percentage of suppliers providing social audit reports or certifications.
  • Number of visits to suppliers’ factories conducted.
  • Percentage of strategic suppliers covered by on-site visits.
  • Coverage of product compliance and safety documentation.

We have currently collected the following data related to the above indicators:

  • Evidence demonstrating compliance with all product requirements specified in the relevant EN standards - 100% of the products from our suppliers are accompanied by the relevant test certificates.
  • two hundred of on-site visits conducted period, in the last 12 months by group representatives at the suppliers’ factories located in China.
  • two hundred and twenty five of our suppliers have presented social audit reports or certificates, representing 90 % of business volume covered.
  • No controversies have been identified in any of the submitted documents, nor has the group observed any during the on-site visits.

Reporting and continuous improvement

We are planning to:

  • Focus on strategically relevant suppliers, prioritizing direct suppliers using factors such as business volume and ability to influence.
  • Gradually increase the percentage of suppliers monitored, targeting a higher number of on-site visits and a greater share of suppliers providing social audit reports or certificates
  • Incorporate the sustainability compliance clause in all product-related invoices.
  • Continue collecting safety and quality certifications for all products.
  • Prepare annual sustainability update summarizing the status and progress.
