Which car seats is the i-Class 360 base compatible with?
The i-Class 360 ISOFIX base works with both the i-Class infant car seat (40–87 cm) and the i-Class Plus toddler car seat (40–105 cm). One base, installed once, covering your child from birth to around age 4. When the time comes to switch seats, the base stays exactly where it is.
How do I know if the base is installed correctly in my car?
The i-Class 360 base has built-in visual installation indicators that turn green when both the base and the car seat are correctly fitted. So there's no second-guessing. If it's right, you'll see it. And if something's off, you'll know before you set off, not after.
Is the 360° rotation safe? Does it affect stability in a crash?
Absolutely safe. The rotation works on a fixed, ISOFIX-anchored base with a support leg that keeps everything locked firmly in place. The spinning mechanism is designed to move for loading and unloading only (during travel, the seat locks securely into position). What is the support leg for, and why does it matter?
The support leg extends from the base down to the car's floor, creating a third point of contact between the base and your vehicle. In the event of a collision, it prevents the base from tipping forward and absorbs impact forces.
What is the rebound bar and what does it add?
The rebound bar is an additional backboard built into the base that sits against the vehicle seat in front. In a collision, it limits how far the car seat rocks back, absorbing and redirecting impact energy away from your child. It's an extra layer of protection that works alongside the ISOFIX connectors and support leg to keep the whole system as stable as possible.
What does AgeLock do and why does it matter?
AgeLock is a built-in rotation control on the base that locks the seat into the rear-facing position until 15 months, when rear-facing is both the safest and the legally required position. After 15 months, full 360° rotation unlocks automatically, giving you the freedom to choose forward-facing when your child is ready.
